    among its website users, individual customers, representatives, business partners, associates
    or any other individuals related to its customers and contractors (“

    2. Definitions
    Personal Data: any information related to an identified or identifiable natural person
    . Such data may include, among many others, name, address,
    telephone number, CPF and driver's license number. Personal data falls into the category of
    Sensitive Personal Data.
    Sensitive Personal Data: personal data on racial or ethnic origin, religious conviction,
    political opinion, membership of a trade union or organization of a religious, philosophical or political nature,
    relating to health or sexual life or genetic or biometric data, when linked to
    a person natural.
    Security Incident: unauthorized access and accidental or illicit situations of
    destruction, loss, alteration, communication or any form of inappropriate or
    illicit processing of personal data.
    Holder: natural person to whom the personal data refers. For the purposes of this Privacy Policy
    , customers or business partners as
    natural persons, legal representatives of legal entities, employees of
    legal entities with whom we have contact and represent that company and users who use
    our website may be considered holders. .
    Processing: any and all operations carried out with personal data, such as those relating
    to collection, production, reception, classification, use, access, reproduction,
    transmission, distribution, processing, archiving, storage, elimination,
    evaluation or control of information, modification , communication, transfer, diffusion or
    extraction.

    3. Who is the personal data controller?
    Solida Marcas will be the controller of your personal data within the scope of the relationship established
    with you. For the purposes of applicable legislation, the controller is responsible for decisions
    regarding the processing of personal data.

    4. What personal data is processed?
    To the extent permitted by applicable legislation and in accordance with your relationship with us,
    Solida Marcas may process the personal data described below:
  2. a) Identification, qualification and contact data: full name; address; date of
    birth; nationality; data from identification document(s) (such as ID, CPF, driver's license,
    OAB, as applicable), email address; telephone number;
    b) Academic and professional data: company where you work; profession; position; education.
    As part of the provision of its services or contracting, Solida Marcas may
    have access to and process a certain list of your personal data or even the personal data
    of other parties involved.
    Some examples of personal data that Solida Marcas may process in the provision of its
    services are:
    i) Registration information: Name, CPF, ID, address, telephone number, date of birth,
    nationality, place of birth, age, marital status, country, address, driver's license, professional registration;
    ii) Information contained in processes: The personal data above are processed only in
    certain cases and when necessary to achieve the purposes mentioned in this
    Privacy Policy, especially for the provision of legal services.

    Sources of personal data
    Personal data may be obtained as follows:
    a) Directly by the Data Subject through contracting or registering a
    contact request on the Solida Marcas website;
    b) By a third party related to the Data Subject (company in which the Data Subject works, for example,
    when the Data Subject is a legal representative or our point of contact);
    c) Incidentally when, when advising a Client, we have access to personal information
    from another party;
    d) From publicly accessible sources, whenever necessary to provide the Services.
    Furthermore, certain data may be automatically collected from Users who
    access the website, as in the case of cookies.

  3. Consent of the data subject
    The LGPD establishes several situations in which the processing of Personal Data is permitted
    regardless of the consent of the data subject. These are called
    “legal bases for data processing”.

    provided for in the LGPD that allows us to do so). In other cases, we will ask for your

    7. For what purposes do we process your personal data?
    In general, we process your personal data for customer service and provision of
    Intellectual Property protection services and trademark registration with the INPI –
    National Institute of Intellectual Property. In addition, we may process data
    for the following purposes:

(i) Perform conflict analysis, preventing Solida Marcas from hiring and/or being hired, in
any way, in situations that represent a conflict of interest according to the
applicable legislation;
(ii) Formalize and enter into contracts with Clients, Suppliers and Commercial Partners;
(iii) Enable contact with the Client, Supplier or Commercial Partner to discuss
matters related to our commercial relationship;
(iv) Within the scope of the provision of our Services, prepare, review and submit statements
to the INPI, carry out prior searches for trademark viability, submit
Extrajudicial Notifications, negotiate agreements involving Intellectual Property rights; hold
training sessions, meetings, videoconferences or conference calls to discuss
topics in general;
(v) Enable the registration, billing and collection of the Client;
(vi) Enable payment to our Commercial Partners and suppliers;
(vii) Conduct satisfaction and feedback surveys on our Services and initiatives;
(viii) Send institutional communications, memos or newsletters on topics of interest
and invitations to events;
(ix) To respond to a request from the Customer or Business Partner and/or as
consented by the Data Subject;
(x) Maintain a single registry of Business Partners and Suppliers, so that we can
contact them in future actions or as needed;
(xi) Maintain a single registry of Customers (individuals and legal entities) so that we can better
manage the provision of our Services, including so that we can concentrate all
documents and information related to that Customer in a database/folders separate from the
others; and/or
(xii) Optimize or personalize the user experience of our website.
Finally, Solida Marcas may process Personal Data of its Customers and Business Partners in the
manner we deem necessary or appropriate, always in accordance with the LGPD, in the following
cases:
(a) comply with legal or regulatory obligations to which it is subject;
(b) comply with a court order, regulatory order or order from competent authorities, including authorities
outside the Data Subject's country of residence;
(c) protect the interests of Solida Marcas, its Members and other Customers and
Commercial Partners;
(d) detect and prevent fraud;
(e) exercise rights in administrative or arbitration proceedings; and
(f) other methods permitted by law.

8. With whom do we share your personal data?

Solida Marcas may share your personal data with:
a) Software providers, cloud hosting services and other
information technologies for the purpose of managing your relationship with our office, registration,
documentation and other measures;
b) The National Institute of Intellectual Property – INPI, within the scope of the provision of the
contracted Services;
c) Correspondents, experts, reviewers, partner offices (national and
international), auditors, accountants, translators and financial institutions to assist in the
provision of the contracted services, depending on demand;
d) Regulatory bodies and other authorities, such as the Superintendence of
Private Insurance (SUSEP) and the National Telecommunications Agency (ANATEL);
e) Judicial authorities, upon express determination.

9. International Transfer of Personal Data

Solida Marcas may transfer Personal Data to service providers or
partner offices located abroad. Whenever international transfer is necessary,
Solida Marcas will adopt all appropriate and necessary measures to ensure
adequate protection of Personal Data, in accordance with national and international
data protection laws.
Solida Marcas will always seek to hire third parties that have the highest
security standards, reaching at least the level of protection required by Brazilian law.


  1. How long will we retain your personal data?
    We store and maintain your information: (i) for the period required by law; (ii) until the end
    of the processing of personal data, as mentioned below; (iii) for the time necessary to
    preserve the legitimate interest of Solida Marcas, as the case may be; (iv) for the time necessary to
    protect the regular exercise of Solida Marcas's rights in judicial, administrative or
    arbitration proceedings. Thus, we will process your data, for example, during the applicable prescriptive periods
    or as long as necessary to comply with a legal or regulatory obligation.
    The termination of the processing of personal data will occur in the following cases:
    a) When the purpose for which the Data Subject's personal data was collected
    is achieved and/or the personal data collected is no longer necessary or relevant to
    achieve such purpose;
    b) When the Data Subject is within his/her right to request the termination of the
    processing and the deletion of his/her personal data and does so; and
    c) When there is a legal determination, judicial, administrative or arbitration decision
    in this regard.

    11. What are your rights in relation to your personal data that we process?
    You can exercise your rights in relation to your Personal Data at any time and in
    accordance with the law, including:
    (i) confirmation of processing; 

(ii) access;
(iii) correction of incomplete, inaccurate or outdated data;
(iv) anonymization, blocking or deletion;
(v) portability;
(vi) deletion;
(vii) information about sharing;
(viii) information about the possibility of not providing consent and about the
consequences of refusal;
(ix) revocation of your consent, if we have requested it from you; and
(x) right to petition the National Data Protection Agency (ANPD).
There are circumstances that may restrict the exercise of some rights provided for by law, such as,
for example, when the provision of information may reveal a
business secret of Solida Marcas or due to compliance with some legal/regulatory obligation or
to allow the defense of Solida Marcas in some judicial or administrative proceeding.

We are committed to the security of your personal data and take
reasonable precautions to maintain this protection. Solida Marcas employs security systems and

All parties to Solida Marcas's contractual relationships are required to maintain confidentiality
regarding the information they have access to due to the Services performed for
Solida Marcas, in addition to complying with internal security policies and procedures. Furthermore,
third parties with whom we share your Personal Data are also required to
maintain measures that guarantee the security of your data, and are also bound by this
Privacy Policy, under penalty of contract termination.
